HUAWEI Launches the P60 Series in China, Is It Still Worth the Attention? | techENT

Huawei today released its latest flagship smartphone, the P60 Pro, in China. The phone features a number of upgrades over its predecessor, including a new triple-lens rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 40-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. The P60 Pro also has a new front-facing camera with a 32-megapixel sensor.

Huawei is particularly touting the P60 Pro’s low-light photography capabilities. The phone uses a new AI algorithm to improve image quality in low-light conditions. Huawei says that the P60 Pro can take clear and detailed photos even in pitch darkness.

The P60 Pro also features a number of other new features, including a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a powerful Kirin 9000 processor, and a long-lasting 4,500mAh battery.

The P60 Pro is available for purchase in China starting today. Pricing starts at CNY 4,999 (around $760). There is no word yet on when the phone will be released in other markets.

In addition to the P60 Pro, Huawei also released the P60 and P60 Art Edition. The P60 is a lower-cost version of the P60 Pro that lacks the telephoto lens. The P60 Art Edition is a special edition of the P60 that has a unique rear design.

The release of the P60 series is a sign that Huawei is continuing to invest in its smartphone business. The company has been facing challenges in recent years due to US sanctions, but it has shown no signs of giving up. The P60 series is a strong lineup of phones that could help Huawei regain some of its lost market share.
